Mags McManus has just become a war widow in her mid-twenties. Her late husband, Randy, left for the Army right after their wedding. I adore this book. Mazzola definitely knows how to create a very realistic portrayal of what life is like for a war widow and how hard it can be to move on. I found this book to be incredibly touching and realistic. Such a great debut novel and I definitely recommend for anyone who enjoys a touching read.
