My Review:

I enjoyed this book... A lot! The plot is gripping and doesn't let you go. Kate is a strong female lead, and I loved her relationship with Lamar. Carrington Grant and his wife are nasty pieces of work. This is one of those books that you can easily read in one sitting not just because of the length of the novella, but because the plot just pulls you in. I gave this book four stars because it drew me in, lock, stock and barrel. The only thing that really bothered me with this book is the male lead's name. Whenever I heard the name Carrington "Cary" Grant... I kept envisioning the actor Cary Grant.  Don't let that deter you, that is just my quirky brain at work.  This is a great book with plenty of passion, drama, and excitement.
