Not Hiding by Leigh Ann Lunsford
Review by Stephanie

Overall Rating: *****5 stars *****

Pages:  325

Synopsis:  (From amazon.com) Cambree Parker has finally flown the nest and headed off to college in a different state, truly alone for the first time. Trying to escape from her sisters shadows, she runs from the lies and deceit that have plagued her family for years, and from the boy who stole her heart and shredded it in the process. Once there, she realizes her freedom is not all she hoped it would be. She misses her family, thinks of Max daily, and when she decides she wants to take control, she is attacked, leaving her family to fear for their safety. Can she protect her heart and remain safe when the source of her heartache has taken up permanent residence by her side?

Max Baird knew he messed up. His guilt over Cambree being attacked makes him doubt if he is good enough for her. He just knows he can’t walk away. She has told him she hates the lies, but the one he is keeping can blow her family apart, and he doesn’t know if she will ever forgive him. He has seen his share of sorrow and heartbreak, but he refuses to allow Cambree to suffer at his hands anymore. He will prove to her they can work. Hopefully he isn’t too late. **This is the 3rd installment in Parker Sibling Series, and you need to read Not Enough and Not Leaving prior to this book.

Review: I have found a new favorite author.  Seriously.  This series has been amazing and there aren’t enough words to express how deeply involved I feel in the story line.  With each book I’ve read, I have loved it more than the last.  Leigh Ann has an uncanny ability to weave multiple plot lines among numerous characters in a way that I’ve never seen before.  None of her characters lose their identity even when it’s not their story – those with strong personalities remain strong in the background without taking over.  She has managed to create a TRIBE of siblings and spouses (there are a ton of them) who are all so unique in their personalities - it is difficult to maintain those voices but Leigh Ann does so beautifully.

Not Hiding is the culmination of its two predecessors, Not Enough and Not Hiding, the suspense continues to build through this book leaving the reader in anticipation of book four, Not Over (can’t wait for Dustin!) but not feeling like you didn’t get resolution in this story.  I laughed through a good portion of this book and rooted for Cambree and Max (each sibling captures my heart more than the previous one).  I think that might be what draws me into this story – the sarcastic humor resonates for me and the reader finds humor in stressful scenes.

Leigh Ann Lunsford is absolutely a diamond waiting to be discovered.  I can’t wait to see her take over the world of Romance.  Mark my words – IT.IS.COMING!  She will dominate!
