So far I can count on one hand, literally, how many zombie apocalyptic type of books I have actually read and liked. Well this is one of them. I will admit that my first sit down was an utter failure and my never having not read a book I stepped back and came back to it with a fresh mind, and I am glad I did. My only criticism is that there wasn’t more…honestly this book is amazing, the story is GREAT, I just wish there were more to it. More depth to the story and the characters. I especially loved Jennifer, hardcore chick who loves guns and survival, a girl after my own heart… lol Jolie has a well-rounded story line and well developed characters but I felt like I was reading a novella that would pass as a .5 type of book not the beginning of a series. I really want to read the next book and I’m hoping (fingers-crossed) that there will be more. I would defiantly recommend this book as a read.
