Synopsis:

Stephanie Bradford is a young, attractive, and successful District Attorney on her way to the top. She has the near-perfect life, with an amazing husband, and she has it all in the palm of her hand. When her marriage falls into a romantic rut, Stephanie is skillfully swooned by a charming, mysterious and intriguing stranger who looks to be the answer to all of her fantasies. A whirlwind and erotic affair quickly spirals out of control, and before long, she learns that things aren’t always as they appear and people are rarely who they seem. One poor decision becomes the catalyst for a series of events that rips her life apart, and Stephanie is left with nothing but the thirst for revenge against the man who viciously stole everything from her. The Suicide Princess is a sexually charged roller coaster ride where nothing is as it seems and everything is at stake!

Review:

I could not put this book down!!!!    I technically read this book in one night. It was so intense and had me on edge throughout the entire book. I needed to know what was going to happen next, definitely a page turner. I think the story flowed great and had consistency all the way through. I was able to connect easily with the characters.
There were times where I wanted to jump in the book and knock some sense into Stephanie.  She just needed more and more to fulfill her addictions.  She didn’t care what the consequences were.
From the moment Stephanie met Derrick their connection was sizzling.  I knew something was up with him but I just couldn’t pinpoint it. His behavior was shady. I was routing for the husband, Jacob, even though Derrick had it all. The ending was shocking but it could not have ended any other way to make this such a great read.
This book teaches us that the grass is not always greener on the other side.  A person may feel that they need to “live” or explore their own self to be happy. This is not always true.  A marriage is built on communication and if more people were able to communicate and understand each other, the divorce rate would be lower.
Anthony, the author, did an amazing job with this book.  I am shocked this is his first book. He knows how to write a story and hold the reader’s attention to the very end.  I definitely am a fan and will read more of his books in the future… Keep them coming!!!!
